HOW DO I POWERDIZE FRANKINCENSE? A marble mortar and pestle works good for small quantities. You also can use a spice grinder, but try freezing the frankincense first as spice grinders tend to heat up causing the release of oils. It is recommended to then sift it with a fine-mesh strainer to remove organic debris and small pebbles, and then spread the frankincense powder out on a cookie sheet to dry for a few days.
